The 26th Annual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day will be held on Saturday June 12th at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.
The goal of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day is to gain awareness of deaf culture while providing fun activities for everyone to enjoy. ASL interpreters and special presentations will be available in the park throughout the day.
You may purchase tickets to Six Flags Great Adventure through NJADB. Tickets are valid throughout the Great Adventure season; including but not limited to Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day.

As technology advances around us, some organizations are joining together to make sure that those who have visual or hearing impairments are being given proper consideration. The Coalition of Organizations for Accessible Technology (COAT) was founded in 2007 to advocate for legislative and regulatory safeguards. This coalition strives to ensure that there is full access by people with disabilities to evolving technologies such as, though not limited to, high speed broadband and wireless connections.
