Critical Co-Worker

Critical Co-workers serve as a coach and teacher in a vocational setting and assist adult men and women with sensory impairments and developmental disabilities to learn new skills and make connections in their community.  Responsibilities include working with individuals to complete contract work, volunteer activities, recreational activities & job coaching. We are looking for people to join our talented and enthusiastic team of caring people, dedicated to our mission to improve the quality of life of the people we support.

This is hands on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily chores and support in the community. NJADB provides specialized, paid training for all employees to ensure that each team member has the tools needed to perform responsibilities.

Salary is $10.25 per hour

Part time or Full Time Shifts:
Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Locations in Somerset and Jersey City

Requirements: 

Valid NJ Drivers License in good standing
High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree Preferred
ASL skills preferred, but will train
