Residential Specialist (Full Time)

Residential Specialists serve as a mentor and teacher by helping adult men and women who have sensory impairments and developmental disabilities to make connections in their community, learn new skills, exercise choices and achieve goals. We are looking for people to join our talented and enthusiastic team of caring people, dedicated to our mission to improve the quality of life of the individuals we serve.
This is hands on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores and support in the community. NJADB provides specialized, paid training for all employees to ensure that each team member has the tools needed to perform their job responsibilities.

Salary is $11.00 per hour for all shifts except the 3pm-11pm shift on Saturday & Sunday, which is $12.50 per hour

Full time residential specialists must work a 40 hour per week schedule. Full time employees are offered excellent medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life insurance and generous paid time off after completion of the first 3 months of employment.

Shifts available inlcude: Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm in Central Region and Southern Regions

Central Region=must be able to work in Somerset, Bound Brook, Piscataway, and Somerville
Southern Region=must be able to work in East Brunswick, Plainsboro and West Long Branch

Requirements: 

Valid NJ driver's license in good standing; minimum of high school diploma; some college preferred.
